How booking, payment, cancellations and confidentiality work. The short version: give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a paid session, and everything you share stays private.

Who you are dealing with

Services are provided by Mitchell Roberts, a sole proprietor trading as Kent & Co, based in Cape Town, South Africa. Kent & Co is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to the prices shown. Contact: hello@kentandcoadvisory.com.

Prices

Prices on the website are in South African rand and are introductory launch prices. US dollar prices are indicative equivalents. For the CS diagnostic, ongoing advisory and workshops, the scope and price are confirmed in writing before any work starts.

Booking and payment

  • Sessions are booked online through Cal.com. You will receive a confirmation email with the time and a video-call link.
  • The 30-minute discovery consultation is free and carries no obligation.
  • For paid sessions and engagements, an invoice is sent after you book. Payment is due before the session starts, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
  • Ongoing advisory is invoiced monthly in advance, on the scope and terms agreed in writing.

Cancelling or rescheduling

  • You can cancel or reschedule a paid session free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Use the link in your booking confirmation, or email hello@kentandcoadvisory.com. If you have already paid, the payment is refunded or moved to the new time, whichever you prefer.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, and missed sessions, are charged in full.
  • If Kent & Co has to cancel or move a session, you can choose a new time or receive a full refund.
  • If you can't make a free consultation, please cancel it so the time can go to someone else.

Confidentiality

Everything you share about your business, customers, people and numbers is kept confidential. It is not shared with anyone else and is used only to advise you. Clients are never named publicly, in case studies or anywhere else, without written permission.

The nature of the advice

Kent & Co provides advice, frameworks and training. Decisions about your business, and their results, remain yours. Advice is given with care and based on experience, but no specific outcome, such as a retention or revenue figure, is guaranteed. To the extent the law allows, Kent & Co's liability for any session or engagement is limited to the fees paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act.

Materials

Frameworks, templates and materials remain the property of Kent & Co. You may use anything prepared for you within your own organisation.

Your information

How personal information is collected and used is set out in the privacy policy.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. If they change, the new version will be posted here with a new date; the version in place when you booked applies to that booking.
